delirium Coimbra
In partnership with the architect Inês Nunes

Delirium Coimbra "is the idea of several collective thoughts developed by the artists, Tatiana Santos and Brimet Silva (Le_Brimet).

Aware of the social and cultural stagnation of the city of Coimbra, a group of exceptionally creative young artists were approached by ÍCONE Magazines "Delirium Coimbra". The brief was kept simple: to design a utopian or conceptual solution, addressing a host of elements that constitute the city urban structure, taking advantage of the urban weaknesses in order to create relevant and absolutely delusional interventions.

Having found a close affinity between the requirements of the brief and the concept of Delirium Coimbra, we chose to propose a new urban space in the city.

Presently
The School Yard, home of the University and also considered the heart of the city, is currently underused not exploiting all of his great potential as catalyst of a new urban dynamics.

Proposal

This is where a special relationship between people and architecture is established. New and improved features are created in the square through this permeable building, creating new urban habits.
